We’re excited to share a special treat with you this week lovelies! This beautiful video of Jessica and Damien’s Playa del Carmen wedding will give you a great idea of the feel of a destination wedding here in Playa. The church, 5th Avenue, the beach, the people… this video has all the quintesencial Playa elements. See for yourself!
Thank you Ken Brownlee for doing such a great job on capturing the feel of this fun day!
Playa del Carmen is growing and changing every day. More and more venue choices are popping up and as much as we love exploring new locations, there is always something special about planning a wedding at one of Playa’s landmark locations. Hotel Lunata has been a part of our city for over 10 years. A charming hacienda style retreat in the heart of the city that has the perfect courtyard for a special celebration. Teresa and Javier had no doubt it was the perfect fit for their May wedding in Playa del Carmen.
Personalized papel picado banners were strung along with colourful Chinese lanterns to create a festive atmosphere in the lush garden.
This intimate location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of 5th Avenue, is a great choice for anyone looking for a beautiful garden location for a small group. The colours and natural beauty of the garden make it easy to get inspired to decorate for a tropical wedding in paradise!
Happy Friday everyone! This bright and cheerful wedding is just the right way to kick off the weekend! Amanda and Eric, our beautiful, happy couple who held their dream destination wedding in Playa del Carmen at the lovely Indigo Beach Club.
Planning this wedding was so much fun and seeing the result was so rewarding! We were so glad we were able to bring all of Amanda’s visions to life and to hear the positive comments from her happy guests.
Indigo Beach Club, right in the heart of Playa del Carmen was the perfect spot for the lovely ceremony and the venue is stunning at night for a lively reception!
Congratulations to our awesome couple! And thank you to Dean Sanderson for sharing the beautiful photos!
Mexico is known for it’s vibrant colors, bold flavors and festive way of life. Kristina, an American woman who fell in love with Hiram, born and raised in Mexico, knew she wanted her wedding to reflect everything they love about this wonderful country.
The couple got ready and had their ceremony in the tropical garden at Hotel Lunata, a charming boutique hotel right on 5th Avenue. Their beloved dog, Guapo, acted as ring bearer and the party was then escorted by a mariachi band down the famous street to Casa Adela, a unique restaurant and art gallery in the heart of downtown Playa del Carmen.
We kept a close eye on the weather, as the threat of rain was looming, but we managed to work our wedding magic and it held off long enough for beach portraits and until the party was well underway at the venue! The decor was a great mix of romantic and traditional Mexican with many pops of color and personal touches.
We loved this vibrant, happy celebration and wish our couple all the best for years to come!
