A Destination Wedding in the Jungle? Yes, of course! The Riviera Maya offers just anything and for every like there is a side of the marvelous nature of the Mexican Caribbean that will please you. Erica Bressan did a wonderful job once again coordinating this beautiful wedding in the Jungle of Sacbé, an outside area of Playa del Carmen.
Jennifer and Niraj’s different backgrounds are both represented by a Jewish ceremony held in an Indu style building in the Mayan jungle.
Jennifer and Niraj opted for a magical celebration in the jungle, surrounded by lots of green and wood, which Naha, this amazing and special place, definitely offers, giving the Indian and magical touch to the wedding. Joining Jewish and Hindu traditions, these two families got to together to celebrate Jennifer and Niraj’s love. And who believes in miracles? Match.com made it possible! Congratulations and lots of Love!
We’ve another beautiful wedding for you all to enjoy, this time welcoming couple Sydney and Austin and their 50 guests all the way from Fort Worth, Texas to the beautiful and wild jungle of Blue Venado Beach Club to enjoy the beauty of the blue Mexican Caribbean waters and white sandy beaches.
Reciting the vows they’d written themselves, they were married by minister Paula Riquelme.
Then it was cocktail hour followed by dinner in a stunning starry setting with plenty of time left to party into the night and dance on the bar!
Our lovely bride, Sydney, very kindly sent us the following note about her big day:
I can not thank you enough for making our dream wedding a reality! Everything was absolutely perfect and all of our friends and family can not stop talking about our wedding.. we’ve even heard from some friends that it was the best wedding ever! All of our guests loved Playa so much that they are already planning to return next year.
All of the vendors that you suggested were amazing! I will soon be writing to them as well to thank and praise them 🙂 I also plan on writing reviews for everyone on wedding wire, the knot, etc.
Today’s wedding, held at the ever popular Grand Coral Beach Club’s gorgeous beachfront destination, was filled with many fine, personalized details. Our couple, Diana and David, tied the knot under a beautiful flower laden canopy surrounded by their friends and family and the exquisite Mexican scenery.
It’s always lovely when the people you love help out and this wedding is no exception with the flowers provided by one of the Bride’s friends, assisted by florist Jardin Floreria.
The fabulous Mexican themed table favours and decorations make this a really special and fun fiesta with the beats provided by DJ Diego from Evolution Mix.
It’s the start of a new year and the start of a new, married life for Scottish couple Leianne and Willy.
Tucked away in a little known, secluded beach that is part the wonderfully named Playa del Secreto, they had a beautiful Mayan ceremony hosted by Casa Chanty and led by Shaman don Eduardo. This intimate gathering took place on the white sandy beach under a brilliant blue sky that perfectly matched the blue and white of our Scottish couple’s Saltire flag theme.
After the ceremony it was time for a beach party with a Mexican buffet and grill provided by Chef Ruben Lopez (Sinfonia Culinaria).
Shaman don Eduardo blowing the conch to begin the ceremony
The couple exchange offerings – in each bowl there is a necklace which is what the Mayan’s use in place of the ring normally used in western tradition
Offerings of flowers are made to the water and the female Mayan Goddess, Ixchel
Todays wedding at Xcaret‘s Chapel of Guadalupe is so special. We absolutely loved all of the intricate details that make this venue so magical. The shadows, the lighting and the dramatic tone make this an absolutely unforgettable experience for you and your guests. It’s truly one of the most unique venues to host your wedding.
There were many romantic details incorporated into the evening. The reception took place in the Hacienda and was beautifully decorated with crystal and white.
Congratulations Lilian and Sergio and thank you to Jaime for the beautiful photos!
